Principal's Message
Happy Spring to all of you!
It's been quite a month, hasn't it? Moving to on-line learning wasn't our choice, but you all have handled it amazingly! I've popped into our classes while our students have been working - I must give the biggest shout out to our educators who have been working so hard to provide engaging learning activities, our students who show up with energy and enthusiasm, and our parent/family community who are helping their children navigate on-line learning, while working and managing your families.
We've said good-bye to Pat, our custodian, who will be working on his landscaping business. Best of luck to you Pat.
Once again, we must extend our gratitude for our School Advisory Council who have been working hard at supporting our students and families. Make sure you scroll down to see their generous offer!
Hang in there! Know that you are doing your best and that's all anyone can ask for. Please let us know if we can help in any way.
Don't forget to follow us on Twitter @Marys_LDSB.
All the best to you!
Mrs. Diamond

ATTENDANCE DURING REMOTE LEARNING
WHAT IF MY CHILD WILL NOT BE PARTICIPATING IN REMOTE LEARNING ON A GIVEN DAY?
Please continue to use the Safe Arrival system to report your child's absence if your child is not going to be accessing online learning (either synchronously or asynchronously) over a 24 hour period. Attendance calls will continue to be sent out automatically to those students who have not participated in any form of learning. This is to help us keep a connection and ensure the well-being of every child.
If you do not wish to receive a call, please:
- use the automated Safe Arrival System using School Messenger to create an absence, or
- contact Lisa via email at marys@limestone.on.ca
